Class Report: Yoga Basics, 2-24

Meant to do tree and option for standing shiva, but who knows what got into me. We did Reclining Hereo's pose, or Saddle pose, instead.

i want to come to your claaaaassssss.

so you don't do vinyasa between sides always? or sun salute entrance? just straight from tadasana to warrior II? i feel like i want to see a video of this.

what is standing shiva?

No actually I left out the 'entrance' into the sun salutes. we forward fold and all that, then step back into the lunge. I normally do all kinds of vinyasas but the basics folks weren't really feeling it...next week the class is called 'basic flow' so we'll see..

oh standing shiva is a balance/twist. one leg kicked out and held with opposite hand while the back arm reaches back....
